As you may have realised during installation, we have a large old house which hitherto has tended to be on the ‘cool’ side even when the central heating is on. It is just over 2 weeks since our windows were fitted and we would like to write and thank all of you at Acorn for such a good job. The windows, doors and soffits etc. are a perfect fit and were installed very professionally and quickly by Paul and his assistant, Paul. Of course, your original measurements and Steve’s more precise ones were definitely contributory to this excellent job and we will have no hesitation in asking Acorn to install the windows at the back of the house - next year, if all goes to plan - and we would be very pleased if both Pauls could be assigned to this job.
They were polite, considerate and worked hard and we would recommend you to anyone needing new windows and doors. Thank you to Alan Highet for the 10 Year Guarantee Certificate and for sending us the Independent Warranty forms which we will post tomorrow. We hope we won’t have to make use of the guarantee but it is reassuring to have, should any problem arise.
Once again, many thanks to all of you at Acorn for our beautiful new windows which are a great improvement on the previous wooden frames, both from the security and aesthetic angle. We hope that Paul is getting over his operation - please pass on our best wishes to him for a speedy recovery. We look forward to contacting you with a view to having the back windows and soffits replaced some time next year.

I have been meaning to write to you for some time to congratulate you and your team of professionals for the excellent installation of Windows and Doors made at my property.
As an Engineer and a Perfectionist I pay very close attention to both quality and detail and from my initial meeting with you right the way through to the final commissioning of the Windows and Doors the job was nothing more than excellent.
It is unusual in this day and age to come across a company that is not pressurising, offers a first rate quality product but more importantly, at a price that is realistically affordable to almost anyone.
Your staff are a total credit to your company from your Showroom Management right the way through to your Installation Engineers which, I might add are real craftsmen. There was also a need to replace a damaged Door Handle owing to a manufacturing fault and I was most impressed that your Service Engineer Terry Stewart, was prepared to come out and replace it on a Sunday afternoon to fit around my busy working schedule.
As you know I am also Chairman of a Business Association in Nottingham that represents over 2000 businesses which results in approximate audience of 80,000 people. My organisations principal objective is to promote local business to business networking and I shall have absolutely no hesitation whatsoever in recommending your company to members.

It is now some 3 months since Acorn finished work (conservatory, windows and facias) at our house, and we both feel that we should write to let you know how pleased we are with the finished product.
The time since completion to now has enabled us the opportunity both to enjoy and inspect fully the end result. We are particularly delighted with the conservatory which is exactly what we were hoping for and which has given us a whole new aspect from house to garden.
Although late in the day a special note of appreciation should be given to Alvyn and Mike for their application to work, their curteousy and the fact that they were meticulous in cleaning up all debris once they had finished for the day.

What a start to a New Year, to be able to write a laudatory letter to a Nottingham company in appreciation of a job well done!
Through the dedicated efforts of your team, my beautiful new conservatory was completed in time for Christmas, enabling me to host Christmas Day within the newest part of my home for a dozen guests. Their glowing compliments simply echoed my own personal feelings of gratitude and complete satisfaction for an outstanding project within an unusual setting.
My one hundred and fifty year old stone barn certainly proved a difficult backdrop on which to add a Victorian P-shaped conservatory, but the Acorn Windows team rose to the challenge and surpassed my highest expectations.
The result is truly fabulous!
All members of the team deserve a mention for their contribution, from Alan who drew up the original design and Tony who made subtle but significant improvements to the plans, to Pete and Steve who managed to work within the extremely difficult constraints of non-aligned stone walls to complete the base perfectly and go on to build the mini walls with irregular sized Ancaster stone. Glynn and Dave proved their outstanding craftsmanship during the erection of the conservatory framework - again working within the constraints of extremely irregular stonework on all sides - and accomplishing a superb finish. The input by Paul and Matt who painstakingly installed the electrics (stone walls do not make the easiest of settings for wall lights) and Gary who laid the underfloor heating and ceramic tiles perfectly, simply rounded off the highest professional quality of work from all concerned. What a team! Please pass on my sincere gratitude and compliments to each and every one of them.
If I can be of help in the future by showing potential clients the standard of workmanship attained by the Acorn team, please do not hesitate to contact me. In the meantime, I enclose my cheque in final payment for the work carried out, and wish everyone at Acorn Windows a very successful (and busy!) New Year.
